Shownotes Episode 3: Ravel-what-ics?
exciting news & announcements
Thanks everyone for watching! I’m still working on the sound issues but recording today with a new rather cheap microphone. I hope the sound quality is a little better!
SSK is less than a week away. I plan to buy a lot of yarn. I will bring my ipad and if the moment inspires me, I will try to record something or at least take pictures for the podcast.

Dumbledore’s Christmas Stockings, knit in Skinny Bugga colorway Seaside Dragonlet. On size 2 2.75mm Hiya Hiya sharps. I really like the needles, nice and lightweight.
Tony the toybox monster, knit in Colinette Jitterbug colorway frangipani on size 5 3.75mm Kollage square circulars. Love these needles, hate the cable in the smaller size.

research: how I knit my hexipuffs
size 5 addi lace turbos. A few notes on how I knit my hexipuffs: 1) I use Judy’s Magic Cast On but reverse the stitches so you see the nice edging. 2) Increases are YOs knit through the back loop on the next row 3) knit the first and last stitch of the row through the back loop to make a smooth edging 4) 3 needle bind off at the end to make the edging match on each side
five favorite things
1. Hazel knits club
2. Knitting in public
4. Game of Thrones
5. Audible: currently listening to the Magicians by Lev Grossman. I have Night Circus by
